Alex Friedman is a comedy writer, occasional journalist, and performer based in Los Angeles.
Alex is a 29-year-old southern-born Jew, which means she feels pressure to get married and likes a lot of mayonnaise on her corned beef sandwiches. She's worked for CNN, ABC News, and Late Night with Seth Meyers, covering everything from kidney transplant chains to climate change to Trump to more Trump. Now, she writes female-driven half-hour pilots about modern Jewish women with anxiety and 1600s Italian murderesses. So, autobiographical.
She tweets @kosherhotdogz, where her satirical videos have occasionally garnered millions of views. She also writes a newsletter called Is Anyone Listening? because she would love to host a late night show but unfortunately is a woman.
